Unfortunately I’m dissatisfied with the job S&D has done for 3 reasons: * they smeared with the cement mix all the brickwork they touched as well as the adjacent wall and the electric car charger * they left the rubble behind * they were going to leave the roof not weather sealed until I spotted and and fought for it to be mended

I couldn’t recommend Szilard (and his team) more highly. Very high attention to detail when painting and decorating and nothing is a problem. As well as decorating Szilard has moved sockets, light fittings, fixed shower screens, re-configured wardrobes to name but a few additional jobs that have arisen along the way. He has been back a number of times now and is punctual and tidy in his work.

Nick will probably visit your home within a couple of hours of posting the job (making you feel confident that your job will be finished as quickly as you need it to be) send you links to the materials to be purchased, ask for deposit and then stop all forms of communication. Leroy quoted around £1000 and would only do the job for cash. He said he did not believe in paying tax and that his accountant says he only need to pay tax on earnings over £80,000! As for me I pay tax. And I sleep at night :)

The paving slab steps leading to our front door needed urgently replacing. Then we identified that the supporting brickwork wasn't in great condition. Dajland made the supporting structure secure and removed and replaced all our slabs, including doing a tricky cutout. Communication was great and the cost was very reasonable. The biggest thing I can praise is Dajland's attention to detail. He works carefully, methodically but also very quickly. A genuine professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

James was hired to fit 5 internal doors. It took him 3 days, and the work was careless, lazy, and full of mistakes, excuses, lies and frustration. He blamed the doors, house, locks, anything but himself. I wasn't going to leave a review, but after he left I was able to fix —by myself— issues that he tried to gaslight me into believing it was the best possible outcome. I suspect his "27 years of experience" was made up, and the problem was nothing but absolute lack of skill, care and work ethic.
