• Hugh is a fantastic electrician! The most thorough by far! which is great, i have a small child and one on the way and i wanted everything to be a safe as possible. His testing was so complete and he explained work to me and my husband which was really nice. Hugh was also very inexpensive, we just felt so lucky to find him as an electrician!

Reason for only a 3 star review is as follows. Didn’t rewire a light that said would as said shouldn’t be just plugged in to a socket and was included to be done in the quote. I messaged Chris as the lights timings not set up correctly even though he said he had to send me the instructions so I could do it and I saw him with the instructions but I never got any response so I had to spend time up a ladder sorting myself using guesswork. There were a couple of other issues but out of characters !!

Very nice people, thorough work. Had some snags but not surprising given it is a 1930s house with some bizarre wiring, but they took it all in their stride.

Leigh came out to advise on the work I had posted on this site ,he arrived on time and I felt the advice and quote he gave me to be very fair he was pleasant and friendly.However a friend recommended a local builder who I decided to use.

Took my money and never came back. He came over to fix my lights, then interfered with another light that worked completely fine. When this light stopped working he said it needed a new bulb, after replacing the bulb it didn't work so he said he would come back the next day. He didn't show up and hasn't answers my calls or texts and has my money!

The guys negotiaited a sensible price, turned on time, at short notice, for a large and urgent garden landscaping job and completed the job well within time (as they brought in extra man-power). Very impressed. Tidyied up after them selves and completed all I asked for.I will be using them again.

Very happy, A*** Very professional, nothing was too much trouble. Full conversation and always kept upto date with any time delays or any problems. A very nice guy who is very friendly, helpful polite and a real pleasure to deal with. Excellent job, really friendly and helpful guy. Have already phoned Martin about a couple of other urgent jobs that have come up in the last few days - both toilet cisterns out of service, and he has come out and sorted them out today. Martin is now our go to man for any future jobs, whether it's to carry out the job or just for help and suggestions. Thanks Martin, Barry and I really appreciate the help you've given us these last few days :-)
