Carl and his team did a fantastic job when working on my garage extension and conversion project. It was the first time that I’ve ever done this type of thing but Carl’s communication was spot on from start to finish. He was courteous and communicative throughout and talked me through each day where the project was at and what was next. If I had to appoint a builder again for whatever reason I wouldn’t hesitate in appointing Martin Building Ltd to complete the job. Thanks again Carl!

Did not turn up in the morning. I had to travel to meet this tradesman as I don’t live in the property. He didn’t bother to let me know he is not coming. After texting him he said “ Am so sorry i didn’t update my diary can i come see you tomorrow morning ?” When I said he is not getting a good feedback then he’s changed the excuse to “daughter unwell”, certainly a lie. I’ve seen his FB business page so he is a bathroom fitter and joiner?!! I think I’ve had a lucky escape. Avoid.

Mateusz and his colleague sanded and varnished the floors in 3 rooms, the landing and staircase of our 1912 cottage. The work was of a high standard with no mess. Mateusz's communication throughout the job was excellent. He listened to what I wanted and was polite and helpful. We are delighted with the end result. Highly recommended.

Mirror Finish Plastering is a company since 1992. Since serving my time as a qualified plasterer, which i won apprentice of the year in Sunderland in 1991, my business has grown from strength to strength. Owning several houses of my own in the rental market, I also work for many Landlors over the years. Not only do I do my own plastering, I do everything that`s needed to do before the tenant moves in: incl. joinery, electrics and gas (which does require the need of a qualified gas engineer and electrician to sign off the work that I do). I pride myself for my timekeeping and punctuality. Once I start a job, I always stay on it, till it´s complete, before I move onto the next one. But the biggest pride I have is, after 29 years of plastering, I have always had a great response from all my customers and NEVER had a call back. Excellent job, 10 out of 10! As a landlady I had few plasterers working for me, David is the best. His work, knowledge (all sorts of building issues) and attitude are more than just professional. Jeff has just painted my Kitchen and Utility Room. He turned up when he said he would and has done a great job, no fuss, no mess, no stress. We quite happily left Jeff to it while we went to work, he was professional and obviously cared about the quality of his work. Really pleased! I Wouldn't hesitate to use Jeff again!

Friendly, professional and great attention to detail. Ron was thorough and meticulous when quoting the job which was quite a complex job as it was very bespoke. He asked a lot of questions which gave us the confidence that there wouldn't be unexpected charges. Ron was always on time, very reliable and left the house very tidy each night. We were aways kept informed of how the job was going and when it was expected to be finished. The quality of the work is very high and exactly what we had asked for. Highly recommended.
