Unfortunately on two occasions now Grant has agreed to attend a job and not shown up. After the first time, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. It’s a shame as he seems like a nice guy who does a good job, but if it’s reliable you’re after, I’d go elsewhere.

Keiran and his gang at Smith & Sons are a total disgrace. He demanded full payment upfront (which clearly funded his honeymoon), did the bare minimum, then vanished. No return, no refund, no shame. They’ve taken our money and run – pure theft, in my view. They hide behind multiple business names, which reeks of dishonesty and likely tax dodging. Untrustworthy. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Avoid them like the plague. I wouldn’t let them near a garden with a bargepole.

As someone who is fairly useless at DIY, this team is amazing. Professional and respectful all the way. They ask about every job you ask, to ensure it is up to your standard and check afterwards to see if you are happy. Overly considerate and tidy of your home. AVOID AT ALL COSTS I can't recommend Tom. Previously TH&Jones Ltd he has changed the company name. He has left us with an extension that doesn't meet building regulations and needs to be taken down. Our house unsalable. I have an independent report to support it. Insufficient foundation, no damp course, insufficient insulation, incorrect installation of roof. He said he would rectify if we paid for 'things unquoted' but failed to show exactly what. We haven't heard from him in months. Stay away!!
