AVOID this trader at all costs. I hired Fresh Coat Decorators in February to paint my 3-bedroom house and deeply regret this decision. Despite their assurances, unsightly ceiling patches remain visible after completion. Door paint is already peeling badly. They failed to paint agreed areas in the garage and window interiors, then completely ignored my calls and messages with photographic evidence of their incomplete work. Their craftsmanship is poor and their customer service non-existent.

We used Kingz for clearance of a very overgrown garden and new fencing. They did exactly what they said they would do in their quote. They worked hard, left the garden tidy, and took away all the waste. They were very pleasant and Emma, in particular, gave good advice regarding ongoing after care of the garden. I initially hired JSK to fix some guttering. However, it soon became apparent that the roof needed extensive work as the existing felt and battens had become rotten. JSK ended up installing new air breathable membrane felt and treated battens. They also provided new guttering, all at an affordable price. They provided a very professional service and I would highly recommend them.

Do not use Jay, paid him half and then he didn’t finish the job and went awol leaving my downstairs bathroom in a right state, packing out gaps with bits of wood, lots of mastic use, toilet cistern not bolted to the wall, boxing in was not cut straight, he spray painted but that was uneven and he managed to get my hall walls too, now having to rip out everything he has done to start again. I ended up hiring Sam to replace all my internal doors and one double door frame. What started as a positive experience ended up quite miserably: Sam did a botched job on the frame and the new double doors (the doors are not levelled, neither are the handles, the frame is not flush with walls etc). Also, black marks on the trimmed edges, numerous scratches, screws at an angle and so on. He did promise to come back and fix some of the issues, but never did.
