You can see why Smith & Son get a good rating. You get a friendly builder that does a good job. We employed him to fit a steel beam and a door lintel. the worst job ever i have seen i hired anthony as a professional to do some finishing touches on venetian plaster but he didnt do it he took a deposit then he disappeared for three weeks telling stories that he was sick or he didn't have time when he finally came to do the job he did it even worse than before came with one can of filler and made my walls a ugly color arguing that they couldn't be done better didn't return the deposit! i don't recommend it to anyone, do not pay deposit this person

The only award winning bricklaying company in the SW!!!!! Exeter based Bricklaying and masonry company. We started in 2015 undertaking all aspects of masonry including new builds, extensions, garden walls, patios, concreting, retaining walls, repointing and repair works.
Patio now looks great. The guys were friendly and trustworthy. Really happy with the garden now.
I have been in the trade over 20 years, I trained as a carpenter but in 2005 I trained as a electrician, I specialities in Kitchens and Bathrooms and I have a workshop so I can manufacture Kitchens as well.
Sadly we did not place our order with Gareth but we were very impressed with his manner & knowledge of our requirements. We just decided to use a local firm that specialises with our particular needs.
