My partner Sara is a very accomplished designer and painter and decorator. I have worked for the electricity board for many years and have industrial and home electrical nstallation experience. Showers, electric heating, underfloor heating, extra sockets, rewires, lighting, fuse boards, etc My son has just undertaken a 6 week plastering course, and with myself being self trained and helping, I am also trying to build up his business profile We are highly trustworthy and give a very fair price, We do not like or want to rip people off. Hired this tradesperson all went well for a short time - his team walked out on him and he could not get the appropriate trades to complete various stages of the build - after complaining about the constant delays he stated he would not come back and is now in breech of his contract- due to his inability to obtain the relevant tradespeople his plumbing “expertise” has now caused a leak underneath our newly fitted kitchen floor! Which we are having to pay to repair! Disgraceful!

A person from the company came to the house, looked at the job, promised an estimate. Haven't heardanything since.
Attended promptly but did not conplete all the work I asked for. Just changed a fuse and replaced a light switch. When I asked him to return to complete the work he was very reluctant to do so.

Mikel is a very hard and honest worker. He understands what he is doing and despite the complexity of the job, which was not only the fencing I had instructed him to do through this site, but a complete refurbishment of the garden including a lot of natural stonework .It was not an easy job. As to the previous person who complained about Mikel -well there has just been enormous storms and fencing was hard to get and all the cheap stuff was gone. I have no hesitation in recommending Mikel .

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!

Could not have worse experience. Took deposit, didn't show up on the day agreed without saying anything. Had to chase them up. Rearranged the date. They supplied the cheapest grass available, not the one I was promised. Eventually, they show up for half an hour, had all sorts of problems and left, despite had seen the job in person. Carl wanted to keep 300 pounds of my deposit for having done no work whatsoever. I never received my deposit back in full and I am taking him to Small Claims Court. Stay away!
