I have been in the trade for 22 years. I worked for dulux before I set up on my own 10 years ago. I undertake all aspects of internal/external painting and decorating with a professional, friendly and reasonably priced service. I was looking for a plasterer to do my son's room before painting it and so was confused when James approached me for the job. He is a decorator. He said that plastering the walls was unnecessary because my walls were "90% there". He said filling, sanding and painting them would save me money and time so I agreed to hire him. So much went wrong and ultimately he left my walls in a state. Cheekily he asked to be paid before finishing. I fell for it and now he has done a runner!
