Great communication throughout, arrived on time and had the emulsion job done within the day, as well as stripping wallpaper and patching up a little hole previously caused by a broken blind. Mark put flashing where the leak was and also sealant over the joints in my flat roof kitchen extension. He said the roof needed replacing but it will be OK for a couple of years. He said any problems just get in touch and he will sort it. The leak was still there, I contacted him 6 times and 6 times he promised to come and sort it. This was during the weeks before Christmas but he never came back. I am a 71 year old pensioner and have been left with the same leak even though I paid to have it sorted.

Installation in spring great - friendly, helpful and worked great. However, when greater use of the boiler (ie. Heating) was needed increased leaks appeared and flooded two floors below. Trying to get 'tony' back to fix the bodge that caused it was impossible. Tony sends streams of lengthy excuses trying to deflect blame onto anyone but himself. These included being busy with other jobs, a way crash, not having declared points on his licence, to falling asleep! He gave compensation.

Very pleased with Martins work. He did a thorough check of all the radiators, adjusted the 3 that weren't working, so now there nice and warm, he'll be returning tmrw to replace the valves in 8 of the other radiators. I'll pay the full bill when the work is complete.

I paid for new roof in 2017 with 25 years warranty. In November 2024 the roof felt apart. I made claim through my insurance company who appointed BVS surveyor to inspect the roof. Insurance claim was declined due to poor workmanship ( insufficient battens, not secureed dry verge, tiles and not enough felt). I asked Roofsmart honour their warranty but they refused saying that I paid cheap and now they charge 10k for new roof but who wants defective roof in the first place Now I need to take legal action.

The job was posted on 22nd July 2025 and Wade Ellis of Ellis Roofing And Building Ltd responded 2 days later. After a survey, I received a quote on 26th July, which was accepted. A skip arrived on 29th July and the work commenced next day. The job was completed on 1st August. The bricklayer and his female trainee assistant got on with the job without any fuss, and they were very pleasant to deal with. The aim of the project has been delivered and I am very happy with the result. I recommend them. 5 stars!
