We are Solar Technicians. Not pest control experts or window cleaners. We have the knowledge and experience when it involves installing or maintaining your Solar Panels. You wouldn’t want a brick layer working of your solar panels, would you? All our work comes with a Workmanship Guarantee and we are covered by our Public liability insurance. We do not use any chemicals or treatment to clean the solar panels and our specialist equipment protects the ARC on the face of the solar panels. Using the wrong equipment could be detrimental to your solar panels. We only use the highest standard of materials for Solar Bird Protection and the correct equipment for carrying out Solar Panel Cleans. Hence why pest control experts stuff chicken wire under the Solar Panels & window cleaners get poor results when they attempt to clean the Solar Panels from the ground with a soft bristle brush. We will be gaining access to the roof without scaffolding, which keeps the cost down and also using the correct equipment to clean the panles that will remove the build up of Lichen, Algae & any pollen / dust whilst still protecting the ARC on the face of the solar panels. We would advise a solar clean once a year, anymore is not necessary. If you wish to have both services completed at the same time, we would be happy to offer a discount. Blythe charged a call out fee to visit the house and prepare an estimate. He then assigned the work to a Mark Harris who we believed works for him. Mark started the work before Christmas and asked for payment in full on the 22nd Dec, promising to complete the work on the 23rd. He failed to turn up and has broken repeated promises since. He now refuses to accept calls. Meanwhile his incomplete work is sub standard and we have new leaks due to poorly laid fiberglass. Slatemasters now deny he works for them!

Tom talked a good job, but failed to deliver. Plasterboards he erected had to be taken down and replaced as socket holes far to big. Not enough timber framework between joints. Little to no cleaning after working. Tools still left behind months after finishing. There's more but no space to write it on here.... Still waiting for receipts and house key! Avoid if you don't want to be disappointed!

You can see why Smith & Son get a good rating. You get a friendly builder that does a good job. We employed him to fit a steel beam and a door lintel. The site was tidied up on completion and advice was given about covering the beam and contacting building control. Thanks Ian and team, great job, thoroughly recommended.

James arrived at the agreed time and after going up to survey the chimney produced a detailed plan and quotation and showed me photos.The price was fair and the work was undertaken straight away.
