George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Martin was quick to make contact with me and arrange a time to quote. He came to my house with his wife and they were able to give me really good advice and a quote on the spot which was appreciated. I didn't use Martin on this occasion more due to my own timings then anything else but would certainly look to contact him in the future for any other jobs required.
They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

U make up stories and lie out of ur back teeth, you had many months to sort these stairs & pestering for money constantly , soon as you got the money u did nothing, every time I called, u made excuses, I don’t want to hear about your problems, I wanted my stairs made, & u did not deliver , your a crook mate & il make sure all hear this mate.

This is an effective, no-frills, reasonably priced outfit. They replaced my house extension 4mx4m flat roof with a new felt flat roof. I was impressed by the speed of response to my job posting, with a site visit on the same day and the work done a few days later in one day. GLS did some work on our cottage, including renovating a staircase, fitting skirting boards and door frames, hanging doors and installing a built-in wardrobe. This work was quite complicated due to the age and “character” of the cottage (no straight lines!), plus working in a busy family home. They did an absolutely fantastic job.
