We are a period/listed property restoration company. We specialise in traditional materials and methods. Often our work is to Identity and rectify damp issues which arise from the use of modern materials on period properties where breathable materials are imperative for the buildings features and characteristics to function. Once the breathability of the property is compromised damp issues will occur. We offer damp assessments for your property with a full report to guide you in the right direction eradicating current and future damp issues. Our assessments cost: £140 including guidance and a full report which details the source(s) of the damp & mould, how to eradicate the issues. - Lime rendering & plastering with horse hair. - Lime pointing. - Masonry repairs. - Paint removal using the Thermatech hot steam cleaning system. - Brick/stone feature walls. - lime wash - Breathable Painting. - lime plaster/render We often work with conservation officers from the authorities to ensure our works are of the highest standards.

Although the work was more extensive/expensive than I had hoped, I trusted Jesse who showed me and explained what had been happening and also that the adjoining (and older) flat roof over the utility room was beginning to show signs of deterioration. He promised to start work as soon as the rain gave up for a bit, kept in contact which was a great comfort. Moss Rid were great and very cheap. Arrived on time to do repair works to the roof that were not straight forward and in a difficult position. They even brought spare tiles with them in case mine could not be rescued. Executed repair work very quickly and efficiently. Roof is now watertight again.
