I paid for new roof in 2017 with 25 years warranty. In November 2024 the roof felt apart. I made claim through my insurance company who appointed BVS surveyor to inspect the roof. Insurance claim was declined due to poor workmanship ( insufficient battens, not secureed dry verge, tiles and not enough felt). I asked Roofsmart honour their warranty but they refused saying that I paid cheap and now they charge 10k for new roof but who wants defective roof in the first place Now I need to take legal action.

This firm sub contracted out the work to a local plumber/carpenter who I found difficult to contact. I needed a new shower as he said he couldn`t repair it. I selected the cheapest one as I am upgrading my bathroom later this year. He couldn`t get it straight away so I selected a dearer one which he fitted. He then told me he was going away the next day. If I hadn`t selected the dearer one I would still be waiting! There is some moisture leaking but I really don`t want him again so I`ll wait and see.

He produced a detailed written quote and then didn't increase it throughout the job. Came round to view two jobs that I need doing. Did a very small amount of grouting and resealed a small shower tray and for that charged me £190; with a view to returning to continue with the work. Then ghosted me and I had to obtain another company. I essentially paid almost two hundred pounds for very little work and a great deal of inconvenience.

No job too small
After completing some lighting work I went in to have lighting installed on my wooden staircase .. worked ok to begin with but the sensor developed a fault and lighting continually flashed on and off this was Dec 24. Bradley has promised numerous times to rectify the fault I’ve taken time off work when he made arrangements to come but he has yet to turn up.. I would therefore not recommend as he has let me down. After posting the above he contacted me to arrange to come again and failed to turn up ..
