Gareth employs several staff and subcontracts to NICEIC registered Electricians and GAS SAFE registered gas engineers. Not a good experience. Quoted £600 to replace 2 pieces of trellis, fix fence posts and do a general garden tidy up. In total he spent 1/2 a day on the job, so very expensive. The garden tidy was ok if cursory. The job on the trellis was unfortunately not adequate. The fence posts weren't secured, so it remained wobbly, leaning to one side, the trellis wasn't on straight and was split in some places by the screws he's used. Less than 3 months later the trellis fell down. He refused to refund for the labour.

The tree felling was done to a very high standard. Care was taken to bring down the tree in stages so that no damage was caused to the surroundings. Matt also very kindly gave some advice to me on pruning a couple of other trees, which was much appreciated. There were issues with communications, when our appointment on a previous day was cancelled without informing us. However, they took on board that we were not happy about the no-show and re-arranged for a few days later.

Said he would come back to finish off on the Thursday snd to spray a substance to orevent anythj g geowing back. (he came on the previous Monday). Initially really pleased, but he hasn't come back (it has been 3 weeks since the injtial visit) and he has not responded to any of my messages, even though they show as having been read and now the weeds have already started to grow back, so it's going to cost more money to get someone out. Not happy.
