George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. AVOID AT ALL COSTS I can't recommend Tom. Previously TH&Jones Ltd he has changed the company name. He has left us with an extension that doesn't meet building regulations and needs to be taken down. Our house unsalable. I have an independent report to support it. Insufficient foundation, no damp course, insufficient insulation, incorrect installation of roof. He said he would rectify if we paid for 'things unquoted' but failed to show exactly what. We haven't heard from him in months. Stay away!!
I have been in the trade for 22 years. I worked for dulux before I set up on my own 10 years ago. I undertake all aspects of internal/external painting and decorating with a professional, friendly and reasonably priced service. He put every effort into driving a long way to assess our water leak. He even inspected everywhere & had a long ladder to climb the 3 stories to the roof to evaluate all sources of the leak. He found a crack in the roof & a pipe pouring water into the crack. He even repaired the crack free of charge! We would hire him again, esp for his specialty-exteriors.
