James did a good day's work. He was joined by work mate Craig. They erected a pagoda. James started to sand my path and patios. He said he would come back on Monday to finish. He didn't. I called him again and on four different occasions he volunteered a day to come but didn't. I foolishly paid James in full. They left garden debris which took us several hours to clear up. I called James to politely say we would finish the sanding ourselves if we knew where he was up to. He has severed all contact.

Carl and his fantastic team did an excellent job, relining both upper and lower ponds and the connecting stream. They created shelves where there were none before and made entry and exit to the larger pond far safer. They discussed all aspects of the work with us, listening to our requests. Returning the feisty frogs to the pond afterwards became Tim's job! They also replaced 3 large fence panels brilliantly. Firstly, the new composite decking was done extremely well by Alf and his team. Great communication from him and cannot fault anything thing him or his team did. But, since the decking was done there have now been two occasions that one of the decking lights have failed. 1st defect was a wiring issue which was resolved by the electrician Conor, the current fault has now been resolved.
