George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. the worst job ever i have seen i hired anthony as a professional to do some finishing touches on venetian plaster but he didnt do it he took a deposit then he disappeared for three weeks telling stories that he was sick or he didn't have time when he finally came to do the job he did it even worse than before came with one can of filler and made my walls a ugly color arguing that they couldn't be done better didn't return the deposit! i don't recommend it to anyone, do not pay deposit this person

Peter and his crew arrived in good time, started work promptly (overboarding and plastering a slightly cracked ceiling), did a good job and finished earlier than I expected them too. One spontaneously offered help when my partner was moving some item. I selected them partly on the basis that Peter could come and see the job and meet me (rather than just sending someone unseen to to do the job on Friday). They were a cheerful and friendly bunch, and I'm happy to give them 5 stars.

Whilst the app is a good idea having to select a job costing beforehand when you're not sure how much to pay is very frustrating. It also reduces your negotiation of any job with the tradesman you're contacting, I've used the RP app a few times but not sure if I will use it again. On this occasion I only had 1 reply so was grateful to get the job done but it comes at a price.

Family run business. Have been a bricklayer for 30 years and now my son has followed in my foot steps. I have always been proud of my work especially conservation. I have recently joined rated people because I have had enough of the site work and feel its time to slow down and offer my experience to private work. We engaged Stuart and his team in 2023 to help remodel our garage into a suitable office space and gym. In all, it has cost us an additional £4.5k to rectify the issues Stuart and his team made from a poorly fitted garage door which voided the manufacturer's warranty, poorly rendered exterior, numerous snagging issues and unfinished work. I would not recommend.
