We learned the hard way with our kitchen that we wanted a smaller company to do the bathroom so that we could speak directly to the people doing the work. Our choice was vindicated with Reuben and Chris - nothing was too much trouble and their work ethic and attention to detail was excellent. Hard-working, good humoured and low-maintenance, they were a pleasure to have in the house. The finished bathroom surpasses our expectations, we are delighted with it and readily recommend Southside Renovations.

We chose to use A&M Carpenter for the refurbishment of the bar in our village hall. The bar serves many purposes so the design had to be very flexible as well as give a good feel to the room and the Hall in general. A&M Carpenters has made us a bar that far exceeded our expectations both in terms of final appearance and quality of products. We can only give A&M Carpenters our highest recommendations. Ian and Peter were extremely adept at identifying the issues with the wiring of our kitchen, providing a quote with a fast turnaround. On the day of the fix, the two of them were professional, polite and personable, sorting the issue and explaining what the issue was and what steps had been taken to rectify the problem. Can't recommend them enough!

Graham arrived exactly when he said he would, with all the necessary materials to lay our bathroom slate floor and ceramic wall tiles. He then fixed a plasterboard problem that was not his to fix, before getting on with his tiling job. He worked 4 days solidly, right through to Sunday, to complete the job to our deadline, without any complaint or extra weekend charge. Our tiles look beautiful and I can't wait to use our new bathroom. I wish our builder was as helpful and reliable!! Thank you Graham.

First time using Rated People and it was first class great online communications and follow up processes. Mike Baker was first rate from initial call back through to completion. Took time to talk through requirements, meet on site to survey and estimate the work, providing a clear cost and timescale. We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year.
