Welcome to McCartney building I am a multi skilled trades man that has been running for around 6 years. Martin was quick to make contact with me and arrange a time to quote. He came to my house with his wife and they were able to give me really good advice and a quote on the spot which was appreciated. I didn't use Martin on this occasion more due to my own timings then anything else but would certainly look to contact him in the future for any other jobs required.

Poor communication and lack of project management skills and honesty leaves something to be desired of this company. A 4 week job turned into a 16 week job due to the fact that the sub contractor was not released monies to purchase materials although I paid a hefty 30% deposit and further 30% before up to roof level. I would recommend Carl the sub contractor that did the work but wouldn't recommend CM Masonry. The sub contractor did a good job thankfully so the end result is good.

Made a total mess of a small extension. Quoted 2 weeks and after 7 I sacked him off as we were going nowhere. Massive list of his work didn’t comply with building regs and ended up fitting a purlin to roof as he used wrong sized joists. I now have bits of roof hanging off after max 30 mph winds Even managed to cock guttering up so down pipe is nowhere near drains. Roof leaking and I have had to sack him off and pay another load of cash to a set of lads who can do the job. Avoid or he’ll bankrupt you
I am hard working, polite, reliable and honest young man who has worked in construction for many years and have worked for some well known companies over the years such as C3 constuction, rock civilis engenering, SNI construction and Palmers conservatories. I do work such as bricklaying, roofing, slabbing, gutters, sofit and facias, drains, fencing, concreting, painting and decorating and much more. Just call for free friendly quote or advice.
