The job was booked in for the next day with no fuss. Arrived on time and listened to the issues described. He chased the wiring around half the house for us to find a single loose cable. He kept us informed and updated along the way and was determined not to make it a bigger job than it needed to be. Mian complaint is not the mistake but being ignored for months after. We quickly discovered cracks in the walls and ceilings which he did not come back and rectify. He also failed to notice some rising damp which he simply painted over . This damp then became visible and discoloured the wall. This meant that we had to pay for damp proofers to come and take the plaster off the wall Shahid painted and we are waiting for a different painter and decorator to come and re-do the job we paid Shahid to do.
