George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Dean did work on our house, and the jobs that we asked him to do were done to a very high standard. He worked very hard and put a full days work in with out taking long lengthy tea breaks. we would recommend Aulds to anyone who were looking for a good reliable around builder at very reasonable rates.
George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful

We chose Timber Box Sash Windows to double glaze our sash windows after Andrew came out and surveyed, then followed up with a really decent quote. We got the work done in two phases and both times were really hassle free with the joiners turning up on time and getting on with the job. They were a real pleasure whilst they were here. Very polite and friendly. It’s good to have the same person that surveyed the job actually carry out the work as well, makes for a really smooth process.

Done the job that was required
I am awestruck by this guy. We discussed and agreed a price for the job. We lined up decorators and carpet fitters to follow his work and prepared teh spaces for him to work. On the morning he was due to start he texted me to tell me he could no longer do the job as "my van is off the road" and "I can't contact my so-called partner Tim". I tried to call him straight back to see if we could salvage the project either by hiring a van for the few days needed or finding a labourer to help. JUST A TEXT! Be wary!

Richard is capable of installing windows but we’ve had a bad general experience with him starting with leaving the work unfinished initially and is now ignoring us to avoid having to rectify the issues he’s left us with. We now have a door which scrapes and sticks to the frame whenever it Is opened or shut. I wouldn’t recommend using Premier Home Improvements.
