George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. The building work and the new kitchen was the biggest project undertaken so far on our first home and we wanted to ensure that we had a builder with whom we could work along with well. From the outset we have been impressed with the professional approach not just in the actual work but in all your communications with us, be it emails, quotations or invoices. Everything was explained in a detailed and understandable manner. Given the age of our property (a Victorian terrace) and our prior experience of having discovered areas of questionable DIY(!), we were not surprised that unforeseen problems arose with the kitchen. These were dealt with in the same professional way and with the least amount of trouble to us. When we have further projects to complete on our home, we will definitely contact for a quotation.

Alex has completely refurbished my bathroom and i am thrilled with the result. Alex is very skilled and his work is excellent. He takes pride in what he does, and his attention to, and the care he takes with the smallest details, are not seen so often these days. Alex is obliging and helpfull with advice, and will consult his customer on details. He gets on with the job and does not mind staying late until he's finished what he is doing and cleans up before he leaves. He is a very pleasant man.

What can I do? - tiles - plastering - painting - plasterboard construction - laying of floor panels - assembling furniture, garden structures - I am also a handyman, I can fix many things. - mechanical ventilation - soon insulation of buildings with polystyrene foam system I'm starting out on this site and don't have a review yet, but on MyBuilder they have 100% satisfied customers

Excellent communication, really good value, the quote was very reasonable - replacing 3 blown double glazed units. Simon was extremely personable, very reliable and did a fantastic quality job. He was also able to pull in another job and quote at the same time to replace 3 blown double units in my Mum's conservatory. I would definitely go back o Guilford Windows for any further work and have already recommended his services to both my Auntie and my father-in-law.
