This was my first experience of using Rated People so I didn't know what to expect albeit I don't usually expect anything that way I don't end up disappointed. However, having chosen 1st choice as my preferred supplier over others that got in contact I am confident that I my decision was fully justified. We needed a new arial and decided while action aerials were with us to connect all our rooms so they could be connected to tv's. Job satisfactory and tradesman quick.

Super friendly guy and from what I can tell a competent electrician. Had cash flow problems which unfortunately created a few issues for my bigger job (this was a year ago and I believe due to temporary circumstances at the time). Would certainly recommend for smaller jobs

They said they had to inspect my property first! They unscrewed Electrical Sockets, and did not replace the screws. No work was done to my property. They did not come back, to complete any work. They took £180 of me for what? I have never used Rated People after that.

Geoff was excellent. Turned up on time, tested our electrics and did a few jobs and gave us some good advice. Charged a fair price and will definitely use again.

They were prompt to come. Andrew was very clean as he wore shoe sleves to protect my floor. They were quick in repairing my anthena and now i can see the tv in all rooms. However, estimated phone cost did not match the final price.

Lee Warburton from Lock Hub made an arrangement to visit for a quote, but never arrived and made no attempt to inform me. I then contacted him to arrange another visit for a quote and once again he never turned up, even though I checked with him the day before to ensure that he would honour the arrangement. Consequently, I find it hard to trust someone who does not meet their obligations .

1.5 hrs late. I was out having waited for him as long as I could. My mother's carer let him in, he spent less than 10mins in house, then went away for about 20 mins. He came back, fitted 2 batteries in the mains alarms. He then tried to charge me £220 after repeatedly assuring me that it would cost < £100 before I hired him. He wanted 3 hours call out fee @£70/hr then £10 for the batteries. I asked why 3 hrs call out when he had spent less than 20min in the house he said 2 hours travel!
