Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. Don't go there very unreliable started my job on 8th June replacing decking planks and still waiting for job to be completed 21st July supposed to have had his car pinched and he hasn't got his van really would think you would hire a van if you running a business to keep money coming in and not let customers down promised a rebate if £20 to hire a andyman to finish job 17th July still no money we are in our seventys and have found all this very stressful and know have to find someone to do one piece decking

From coffee tables and chairs to staircases, floors and grand pianos, I have done it all. Colour matching, change of use and change of design. Government contracts in the past, included various departments from department of business to health (usually indirectly). Also RAF dance floor to royal navy officer training head office, all when I was living nearer London. I have been in this business since leaving school, and intend to continue while I still can because I have a 3 year old daughter at a rather late age. In the 1970s when I started most people were doing domestic furniture in this trade, I however was trained on government department jobs as well as domestic jobs. In those days most polishing jobs were dark traditional colours, by the late 80s to early naughties they were more natural colours and more recently lighter than natural. Perhaps you require fitted furniture or architectural joinery changes, such as doors and frames to blend with carpets or curtains. Send a photo and let's see what can be done. Trevor came and looked at our floor, and suggested polishing up the current floorboards as an option, which we decided to go for. We couldn't be happier with the result! After a lot of hard graft from Trevor they have come up beautifully. He is friendly, kind and worked really hard, we were really impressed, and will contact him again for any further jobs.

Jason and his team at JW Roofline have done a great job removing and replacing all of our fascia, soffit guttering and drainpipes over the past 2 days. I considered a few companies and chose this company based on them offering complete replacement and photos of previous work on their website and on mybuilder also. They removed all the old wood rather than just covering it up, so it was a professional job. Highly recommend this business as they specialise in roofline replacement.

We didn't go ahead with the awning, but RB roofing did come and look at the job. The pillar is hollow, awning and wind loading put a huge stress on the fixings, so abandoned the idea. Richard was on time and easy to discuss the job with, pointing out the issues.
