George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Did a good job, However an initially good quote quickly became not so good when I asked for a couple of quite small jobs added, also a couple of things they said needed doing. The price doubled.

They did a great job at taking my garden waste, although the original quote was lower than the quote they gave me after inspecting the task, they quoted before the job but failed to inform it didn't include VAT, which knocked the quoted price up by 20%. Would've been 5 stars if they were clearer with the price. However I cannot fault the work, and it needed to be done.

Mike worked with his son Silas. What a really nice pair. Genuine, polite and got on with the job even though I asked for a few tweaks along the way. Both very old school and worked at their own pace - happy with work carried out and will use them again. Reasonable price too.

I initially hired JSK to fix some guttering. However, it soon became apparent that the roof needed extensive work as the existing felt and battens had become rotten. JSK ended up installing new air breathable membrane felt and treated battens. They also provided new guttering, all at an affordable price. They provided a very professional service and I would highly recommend them.
