DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER! Andy MacClay trading as FRPM was engaged to fit a bathroom for a lady in her 90's. Although personable, he did an appalling job and left the poor lady with raw sewage leaking and a dreadful smell. She was very distressed for months and it cost over £1800 to put the work right. He has since stopped answering his phone and does not respond to any communication.

I was initiall confident in my choice of team to have my patio done. Completion was set for 1 week from the start. 4 weeks later Im still chasing for completion after being left with a blocked drain from grout , gaps in my grouting in ththeew patio and my extensi lead they accidentally took to be returned. Multiple chances to fix and complete outstanding tasks over the last 4 weeks. Even today, plan made, and I was told the blocked drain at least would be sorted and yet again let down by John.

We have a very difficult set of footings which involves a line of trees close by. Foundations passed by Building Control with flying colours. Keiran and his gang at Smith & Sons are a total disgrace. He demanded full payment upfront (which clearly funded his honeymoon), did the bare minimum, then vanished. No return, no refund, no shame. They’ve taken our money and run – pure theft, in my view. They hide behind multiple business names, which reeks of dishonesty and likely tax dodging. Untrustworthy. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Avoid them like the plague. I wouldn’t let them near a garden with a bargepole.
