Shah was so reliable, experienced and polite. He made suggestions that helped us without pressuring us into anything or imposing on us. The work was all carried out as agreed quickly and he worked long days to get it all done. The changes we made were added onto our bill at the end and were far lower than I had been expecting. I had thought about what may have caused the problem. Explained this to Carma and fixed an appointment. Turned up as promised, and had obviously prepared to find and apply a solution. Began diagnosis..Explained at every step what he was checking. A sound diagnosis depends on a systematic investigation. Soon found a possible solution, cleared away any other possible causes. Found fault, set up replacement of faulty part. Checked this would provide the solution. And made the change, Spot on Very tidy work.

Placed advert Thursday. Contacted same day by Mike with a view to coming out and quoting next day. Came on time priced the job on Friday and arranged to start work on the Tuesday. Mike worked with his son Silas. What a really nice pair. Genuine, polite and got on with the job even though I asked for a few tweaks along the way. Both very old school and worked at their own pace - happy with work carried out and will use them again. Reasonable price too.

He made a very challenging job look easy and did some extra things for me that weren’t included in the quote, without charging extra. I am very pleased with the work done by JMR. The tradesmen were pleasant and happy to make any changes or additions to the original plans, with the approval of James (the boss). Nic did an amazing job of the plastering, and Tristan applied his many skills to the build. The estimate was reasonable, and was also the final price charged for the original plan.
